On October 16, 2025, Grade 1 students embarked on a vibrant celebration of Diwali through the Lighting of Traditions: Eco-Friendly Diya Decoration Activity. This innovative event seamlessly blended festive cheer with valuable lessons on sustainability, aligning perfectly with the NEP 2020 and SDG 12 emphasis on responsible consumption. As students donned traditional attire, they danced with infectious enthusiasm, spreading joy and festive vibes. Students crafted exquisite diyas that not only showcased their artistic ability but also conveyed a powerful message: celebrations can be both joyful and sustainable. This immersive experience nurtured mindful practices, sparked creativity, and instilled a deeper appreciation for the environment.
