DESCRIPTION:Pride of India\n“India: Our Pride\, Our Passion\, Our Home!” \nIndia is a land of diverse landscapes\, rich history\, and vibrant cultures. To comprehend and communicate the essence of India\, the young learners of Grade Nursery celebrated the Independence Day on August 12\, 2024. The introduction of the national symbols of India as a reflection of identity and pride marked the start of this celebration. Little munchkins were dressed as national leaders to demonstrate their admiration for their nation and were exposed to inspiring stories of freedom fighters. They also engaged in an enriching activity that featured the country’s tri-colours and its significance\, followed by stage exposure where they spoke a few lines on India. The festivities were marked by enthusiastic displays of dance performance on a medley of patriotic songs. This remarkable occasion not only paid homage to India’s remarkable history and heritage but also instilled a profound sense of pride and unity among the young learners. \n

DESCRIPTION:Your Vision\, Your Poster\nEducation is the foundation stone of progress and better future. With this progressive thought in mind and to encourage our young dipsites to showcase their creativity\, “Your Vision\, Your Poster” competition was conducted on Tuesday\, August 20th\, 2024 based on SDG 4:Quality Education. The objective of the competition was not only to enhance the creativity but also to provide suitable platform to express their thoughts and imagination about quality education. The competition provided valuable outcomes. The ideas shared by children were amazing and outstanding in terms of colouring and valuable slogans written by them on their posters. The talented young minds were motivated enough and thoroughly enjoyed. They participated in this competition with full zest and competitive spirit. \n

DESCRIPTION:Spin and Shine\n  \n\n“To dance is to be out of yourself. Larger\, more beautiful\, more powerful.”  — Agnes De Mille \nDPS\, GBN hosted the ‘Spin and Shine’ Dance Competition for Grade K2 students on August 22\, 2024. The children eagerly displayed their dance skills\, performing styles such as Bhangra\, Garba\, and Jhumar\, which celebrated India’s rich culture and heritage. Clad in beautiful traditional attire\, the young dancers brought excitement and charm to the stage. Each performance showcased various aspects of India’s diverse traditions\, enchanting the audience and earning enthusiastic applause. This event was more than a dance competition; it also highlighted the children’s growing confidence. It was a memorable day\, celebrating Indian traditions and the joy of dance\, creating a delightful experience for everyone present. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n
