As students donned traditional attire\, they danced with infectious enthusiasm\, spreading joy and festive vibes. Students crafted exquisite diyas that not only showcased their artistic ability but also conveyed a powerful message: celebrations can be both joyful and sustainable. This immersive experience nurtured mindful practices\, sparked creativity\, and instilled a deeper appreciation for the environment.

DESCRIPTION:Fireless Cooking Competition\n\nCooking is an art\, where imagination meets nutrition and joy.\n— \nAnonymous\n\n  \nOn October 16\, 2025\, Grade K1 students embarked on a culinary adventure\, participating in the ‘Fireless Cooking Competition- My Salad Story’. This engaging activity\, aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP)\, emphasised hands-on learning and holistic growth. It aimed to foster confidence\, life skills\, and creativity in young minds. Our young chefs showcased their culinary skills by preparing and presenting their healthy salads without the use of fire and speaking about the benefits of their creations. With fresh ingredients\, colourful props\, and imagination\, they crafted visually appealing dishes. The Salad Decoration segment was a highlight\, with students transforming their salads into adorable animals\, flowers\, and cartoon characters. This interactive event not only encouraged healthy eating habits and artistic thinking but also helped children develop essential life skills\, such as confident communication and creativity. Kudos to our young participants and teachers for making it a memorable experience! \n

The team comprised Atharv Kapoor (XI-C)\, Kriti Verma (XI-G)\, Rushmeet Chugh (XI-G)\, and Mishika Rana (XI-G). \nSPECTRUM+ is a live\, student-built digital platform designed to promote mental well-being\, creativity\, and inclusivity. It provides a safe space for students to share emotions\, express themselves through art and writing\, and connect with a community that celebrates individuality—especially supporting those navigating identity and mental health challenges. \nOn the day of the competition\, IGNITE 2.0 captivated the jury with a flawless presentation and professional delivery. The highlight of the event was when judges themselves registered on the platform during the demonstration\, a strong testimony to its instant appeal and user-friendliness. \nIn the Q&A round\, the students confidently addressed queries on the sustainability of the platform\, future development plans\, and its integration with schools and NGOs. Their thoughtful and insightful responses reflected the project’s real-world potential and long-term vision. \nThis achievement is not only a milestone for the students but also a reflection of DPS GBN’s commitment to nurturing innovation\, empathy\, and leadership. The school’s representation across dance and fashion events was marked by excellence\, innovation\, and energetic participation. \nIn the Solo Dance – Beats and Bangs Fusion Dance category\, Ada Salwan (IX-I) secured the Second Position along with a cash award of ₹1000. The Group Dance contingent\, comprising Amaira Johari (IX-I)\, Ada Salwan (IX-I)\, Kiara Singh (IX-I)\, Annanya Phulwari (IX-I)\, Ashviqha (IX-I)\, and Alfisha (IX-C)\, brought laurels to the school by winning the Third Position in the Rhythmic Feet Category. \nThe school also marked excellence in the Style Symphony – Fashion Show. Pranjali Arora (XI-G) earned the Second Position along with a cash reward of ₹1000\, while VrishtiChejara (XI-G) achieved the Third Position\, showcasing creativity and confidence. \nDPS\, GBN was honoured with the Event Trophy of Navya Fest\, celebrating the students’ exceptional talent and effort. DESCRIPTION:Trip to Kolkata and Shantiniketa\n\nTo mark the approaching end of school life with a memorable outing with friends\, the students of Classes XI and XII went on an educational trip to Shanti Niketan and Kolkata from December 03 to 06\, 2025. \nThe students reached Beyzaa Hotel & Suites after a comfortable flight journey. They visited the Victoria Memorial on the day of arrival. On December 4\, they spent the entire day at Shantiniketan\, where they gained valuable learning experiences through interactive sessions with university students. \nOn the third day\, the trip included visits to Mother’s Home\, St Paul’s Cathedral\, Science City\, and the busy streets of New Market. DESCRIPTION:Extempore\n\n\n\nOur students Amaan Ahmed and Shourya Sharma took part in the 16th Annual Inter-School English Debate Competition organized by The Rotary Club of Delhi\, at the India International Centre and hosted by Kulachi Hansraj Model School. \nThe event stretched across two days\, the 11th and 12th of November 2025\, with the first day having 3 preliminary rounds and the last 2 rounds on the second day. The competition was of the Extempore Debate format. \nAmaan has managed to further make us proud by also bagging the position of Best Speaker. He has won Rupees 10\,000 as a result of this feat. As part of the winning team\, both students won 10\,000 each\, contributing to a total of 30\,000 being won by just DPS GBN alone. \nTruly a master class of debating led by our institution. \n

Students were advised to maintain a disciplined study schedule\, manage their time effectively\, and remain attentive to examination guidelines to ensure smooth conduct and success. \nIn addition to academic readiness\, the session emphasised the importance of wellbeing and mental balance. The speaker encouraged students to practise effective stress-management techniques\, maintain a positive outlook\, and seek support whenever needed. The significance of emotional resilience in achieving peak performance was highlighted\, reminding students that a calm\, focused\, and balanced mind is essential for success. \nEqually important was the discussion on physical awareness and health. Students were advised to adopt healthy lifestyle habits such as proper sleep\, balanced nutrition\, and regular physical activity. \nThe session concluded with a reminder that success in board examinations is not only about academic excellence but also about holistic wellbeing.
