The children and mothers took part in various fun-filled activities\, which fostered creativity and cultural awareness in an engaging environment. Our brilliant students\, Drona Singh of Grade 1C\, secured second position\, and Vahin Sharma of 4C claimed third position\, stealing the spotlight with their expressive performances\, weaving emotion\, movement\, and imagination into every scene. Through the innovative use of collaborative robotics and the creative brilliance of Scratch software\, they transformed the stage into a vibrant tapestry of animated story presentation. This beautifully aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP 2020)\, encouraging experiential and multidisciplinary learning\, early digital fluency\, and nurturing creativity and communication skills from foundational stages. From heartfelt narration to code-powered visuals\, our students showcased a seamless blend of technology and artistry\, where stories came alive with every gesture and pixel. The workshop helped in empowering parents to nurture their child with patience\, understanding\, and confidence. \n

DESCRIPTION:Book Week – Readathon\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n‘Books are uniquely portable magic.’ – \n–Stephen King \n\nA Book Week-Readathon\, held from August 18 to 25\, 2025\, was a resounding success. Students in Grades 1 and 2 enthusiastically participated\, and the ‘D.E.A.R.’ program encouraged young learners to Drop Everything And Read\, fostering a passion for reading and improving literacy skills. Students brought their favourite storybooks and created inviting reading corners\, reading sessions sparked curiosity\, and students discovered new words\, characters\, and stories. Creative activities followed\, with students illustrating favourite characters\, inventing new book titles\, and designing cover pages. The book collection thus created offered around 150 books for Grade 1\, more than 100 books for Grade 2\, sparking a love for reading among young learners. This engaging event fostered critical thinking\, imagination\, and storytelling skills. The week was filled with joy\, creativity\, and a love for reading\, laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

With clear voices and joyful expressions\, the children recited timeless dohas and explained their meanings in easy words. Props and pictures added charm\, making each performance lively and engaging. The event fostered an appreciation of India’s rich cultural heritage while aligning with the NEP 2020 vision by nurturing critical thinking\, communication skills\, and creative expression. To us\, every child emerged as a winner\, speaking with unwavering confidence and pride. The competition also resonated with the spirit of SDG 4 – Quality Education\, nurturing value-based learning\, encouraging holistic growth\, and deepening the students’ connection to our cultural heritage. The Amrit Vani competition proved to be a transformative experience\, shaping young minds and fostering a love for cultural learning that will endure for years to come.

The event aimed to enhance foundational literacy\, linguistic skills\, and 21st-century competencies such as confidence\, creativity\, and communication. Our students were dressed as their favourite characters\, animals\, and objects etc.\, to give live performances on the stage. Our little ones charmed everyone with expressive performances\, imaginative props\, and lively delivery. This experiential learning activity not only helped them overcome stage fright but also nurtured creative thinking and performing arts skills. They enjoyed exploring the beauty of ideas\, emotions\, expressions\, and the rhythm of rhyme. More than a competition\, it was a celebration of creativity and thinking beyond the ordinary.

Our talented students of DPS-GBN proudly participated and won many laurels at the ‘Insight 2025’ Interschool Competition held at Indus Valley Public School\, Greater Noida. Rudra Mehrotra of I G and Naisha Patnaik of II J bagged 3rd position in the event\, ‘Runway Walk and Talk’. Incorporating sports into early childhood education supports holistic development\, helping children think critically\, act happily\, and grow purposefully. From balancing exercises to races filled with giggles and a yoga session\, our young athletes explored sports with excitement. Students of Grade 4 proudly assembled a Slogan chain and the students of Grade 3 organized a Rally. The students of Grade 5 also got a chance to visit the War memorial and India Gate which was an enriching experience\, offering a glimpse into India’s rich history and cultural significance. The visit created an atmosphere of patriotism\, glory and pride. The celebration concluded with a Special Assembly wherein the whole wing came together and celebrated it with great enthusiasm. The melodious song\, inspiring nukkad natak and a foot tapping dance number fostered an unwavering sense of patriotism and national pride in the young ones. Indeed\, Independence Day is a reminder of the nation’s unity\, diversity\, and the sacrifices made by freedom fighters. It inspires citizens to work towards a better future\, upholding the values of liberty\, democracy\, and equality.

The event featured a range of exciting competitions\, including Rang Tarang\, Math Vogue\, Brain Train\, Dance to Infinity\, and Mathematics Modelling Challenge. \nDr. Sanjeev Bansal\, Additional Vice Chancellor\, Amity University\, graced the event as the chief guest. The presence of experts such as Ms. Poonam Kalra\, a distinguished educator\, PGT and Supervisory Head; Ms. Nazia Khan\, Founder of Social Reinvent; Dr. Neetu Malhotra\, Principal of Satyam Fashion Institute; Ms. Devika Sharma\, Senior Editor-in-Chief; Shreya Dhoundial\, Senior Editor and anchor at CNN News 18; Mr. Pinaki Ranjan Bera\, MFA gold medalist; Ms. Monika Sood; Dr. Pankaj; and Ms. Jyoti Gupta added lustre to the event. The ceremony began with the lamp lighting by the Chief Guest\, judges\, and Principal Ms. Supriti Chauhan. \nStudents from grades I and II of DPS\, GBN impressed the audience with their portrayals of famous mathematicians\, including Ramanujan\, Shakuntala Devi\, and Aryabhatta. The event also featured energetic dance performances by DPS\, GBN Students. The Mathfest showcased the talents of Students from various schools\, who participated with enthusiasm and zeal. Winners were awarded accolades for their outstanding performances. The Inter-School Mathfest was a resounding success\, providing an enriching experience for both the host School and participating Schools. \n
