DESCRIPTION:Inter-DPS Environment fest 2024 -‘El Entorno’ SESSION: 2024-25\n  \n“Energy and persistence conquer all things.” – Benjamin Franklin \nWe are thrilled to announce that outstanding performance of our students at Inter-DPS Environment fest 2024 -‘El Entorno’ made us secure position in two events. \nLakshya Kankar of IX F and Shriya Gupta of X B won First Position in the event Contrast in Focus: Photography Competition. Through their lenses\, they captured striking images that not only highlight the beauty of our planet but also the effect of urbanization on it. \nRaza Singh of VI D\, Daksh Sahni of VII F and Judy Aaliya Jebason of VIII E won Third Position in E-Sculpt: The E- Waste Art Challenge. As the world grapples with the growing problem of electronic waste\, their innovative idea to make art piece from discarded E Waste has made our students win this competition. \nWe are excited to see our students raising the bar high to achieve new milestone. \n

These sessions not only sparked their curiosity but also deepened their understanding of the universe’s wonders. Our students got an exciting opportunity to observe the night sky through telescopes. As they gazed at stars and planets\, they explored the infinite vastness of the Space. The session sparked their curiosity and imagination\, allowing them to connect their observations with scientific concepts. This hands-on experience deepened their love for astronomy and brought the wonders of the cosmos to life. Designed to ignite a passion for space exploration\, the workshops offered a hands-on\, interactive approach to learning\, making complex astronomical concepts both accessible and fun. \n

DESCRIPTION:Vineet Nayyar Inter-School Sports Championship 2024\n  \nThe First Vineet Nayyar Inter-School Sports Championship Day at DPSGBN was a memorable three-day celebration of sportsmanship and unity\, bringing together schools to compete in lawn tennis and football. \nThe opening ceremony featured a ceremonial torch relay\, setting a tone of resilience and excellence\, while the School’s Parade highlighted discipline and teamwork\, drawing enthusiastic applause. Pro-Vice Chairperson Mrs \nReva Nayyar\, along with Mr Shivanand Raja\, a member of the school management committee\, and Principal Mrs Supriti Chauhan\, officially declared the sports championship open; and with all instructions in place\, the athletes launched into their events\, cheered on by an excited crowd. The three-day celebration concluded with a grand prize distribution and felicitation ceremony\, leaving participants and spectators with a lasting sense of pride and accomplishment. \n

DESCRIPTION:Children’s Day Celebration\nThe students of the Primary wing had a wonderful time on the occasion of Children’s Day. The celebration began with an assembly wherein the children were surprised by their teachers with some energetic performances. It was a perfect day to bask in the Sun. The students enjoyed races like lemon spoon race\, hurdle race\, cone race and pyramid race. Children enjoyed playing games\, eating and dancing together and displayed their creativity by creating extraordinary drawings for the Art competition. Students also got an opportunity to attend a workshop at the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art\, Noida. They spent the day laughing\, playing and creating unforgettable memories with their friends and teachers. Indeed\, children are the best creation of God\, they spread joy in every season\, and we are glad to be a part of this journey! \n
