Special Week – Green Footprints organised for Grades 1 & 2<\/h4>\n

The\u00a0students of Grades 1 and 2\u00a0embarked on an enlightening journey, marking the commencement of the Special Week \u2018Green Footprints\u2019\u00a0from\u00a0April 21\u00a0to\u00a0April 25, 2025. They gained a comprehensive understanding of the 5 R’s\u2014Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Refuse, and Repurpose and their role in reducing the environmental impact of single-use plastics, wrappers, and other waste materials. The students were introduced to the concept of waste management through hands-on experience with colour-coded dustbins, which provided them with a practical understanding of the different methods of waste disposal. Culminating the week-long initiative, the students took an oath to conserve water. This experience successfully instilled a sense of responsibility and sustainability among the young learners, empowering them to become conscious citizens.<\/p>\n
