Trip To Ranthambore -The Land of Tigers
DPS, GBN organized a three-day educational tour to Ranthambore National Park for students of Class VII from 20th January to 22nd January 2023. This educational tour not only enhanced the knowledge of the students but also broadened their outlook towards the outside world.
Children were mesmerised to see the Rajasthani Cultural Program. They enjoyed the music and danced with performers. They watched Screening of Wildlife Documentary which apprised them about the wildlife of Ranthambore National Park prior to the visit. The students were taken for a safari ride to the Tiger Reserve which was an enthralling experience for them. They were mesmerised to see the magnificent Ranthambore Fort and offered prayer at Garh-Ganesh Temple. Later they visited Dastkar, an Indian non-government organization working with craftsmen across India for promotion and revival of traditional craftwork. Children had a wonderful time shopping for themselves and their dear ones. They enthusiastically participated in different activities and collaborated on the writing of a Young Authors Programme, Blog and Podcast script. They learnt real life skills in the lap of nature.
