DPS, GBN orchestrated a Plantation Drive and Walkathon on August 13, 2023, with the overarching objective of countering climate change and safeguarding biodiversity. This event was strategically designed to sensitize the youth about the significance of a sustainable environment. The creation of verdant spaces through plantation drives serves as a catalyst for recreational activities, providing serene spots for relaxation, physical activity, and sheer enjoyment. These green havens contribute to an elevated quality of life and an enhanced sense of well-being among residents. The event kicked off with a palpable sense of excitement as students, teachers, and parent-members collectively embarked on a spirited walkathon journey from Sector 93 to the school premises.

The focal point of the event revolved around the esteemed presence of Chief Guests National Hero Param Veer Chakra (PVC) Captn.Yogendra Singh Yadav and RJ Divya from Radio City 91.1 FM, who wholeheartedly embraced the noble endeavour with unwavering enthusiasm. Principal Ms. Supriti Chauhan underscored the significance of nurturing green spaces. NOFFA, in collaboration with Team DPS-GBN and other invaluable partners, unveiled a remarkable initiative called the 'Curio Box,' which directly tackles environmental challenges and advocates for the advancement of sustainable development.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Ashutosh Singhal, President of Rotary Club of Noida, Mr. Raajeva Singh, President of NOFAA, and Prof. Rajesh Sahay, General Secretary of NOFAA, all of whom lent their distinguished presence and contributed to the grandeur of the occasion. The acknowledgment of these guests was followed by the felicitation led by Ms. Anupama Pandey, Administrative Officer of NOFAA, and Mr. Ankit.
