Visit to Parliament House

DPS GBN Class XI students had the privilege of visiting Parliament House on April 21, 2026. The group of 35 students and 5 teachers departed at 8:30 a.m. and arrived at 9:45 a.m.

Entry was facilitated through the Parliament House gate after security checks and gate passes. Students explored the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha halls of the new Parliament building, the Central Hall of the old Parliament House, and the basement art gallery. Exhibits included a replica of the Constitution of India, traditional instruments, diverse art and dance forms, and paintings reflecting India’s cultural richness. The impressive 22‑metre‑high Foucault pendulum was a key attraction.

Security Officer, Mr. Shah, explained parliamentary procedures, enhancing students’ understanding of governance. A group photograph session added to the memorable experience. The visit proved both informative and inspiring.
