Creativity is intelligence having fun. It allows us to see the world in new ways.” - Albert Einstein
On April 15, 2026, the young learners of Grade K1 immersed themselves in ‘Spectrum of Art’, a thoughtfully curated newspaper collage activity that beautifully blended creativity with experiential learning. In alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) guidelines for holistic and hands-on development, this activity encouraged students to explore textures and shapes through the medium of recycled newspaper.
Our young creators showcased remarkable focus as they crafted various animal figures including dogs, bears, and cats using newsprint and colourful paper accents. This interactive activity was designed to foster fine motor skills and artistic experiences as children crafted visually appealing shapes and designs with their own hands, By assembling different pieces to form shapes as a whole, they developed an intuitive sense of structure and creativity. The vibrant energy in the classroom and the unique creations displayed by every student made the activity a grand success. Kudos to our young learners for their artistic brilliance and growing imagination.
