An awareness campaign, ‘Çhuppi Todo Khul Kar Bolo’ was organised in our school on December 14, 2108 in association with Dainik Jagran and Gautam Buddh Nagar Police Department. The event was graced by Dr. Ajay Pal Sharma, SSP Gautam Buddh Nagar and Mr. Ashok Kumar Singh- SP Crime, Gautam Buddh Nagar.

The delegates from the law enforcing agencies familiarised the students with existing rules, provisions and efforts of the local Police to make the general environment safe and congenial for women. An interactive session was held with the officials in which the girls asked many questions related to Women’s Rights, Safety and Security, Eve Teasing, Police Helpline Number, etc. The queries were addressed and the students seemed to be satisfied and informed. Ms. Indira Kohli, Principal, DPS, GBN emphasised that the safety and security of the students is of paramount importance to the school. She also apprised about the various security practices followed in the school to ensure safety of students.

The event was very informative and conducted smoothly.
