On August 19th and 21st, Grade 2 students at DPS-GBN participated in the vibrant ‘Back to the Roots’ competition to celebrate India’s rich cultural diversity. Children expressed themselves through various engaging performances, including speeches, traditional songs, dances, and small acts (short skits). Each performance reflected their native traditions, helping them connect with their roots and appreciate different cultures. The event also aligned with the NEP, focusing on experiential learning. It was a joyful celebration that showcased talent, creativity, and the beauty of traditions while teaching the importance of respecting and valuing one’s cultural heritage. The event left everyone with smiles and a deeper connection to their roots.
